Prelaunch review draft

Terms of use and purchase.

Prelaunch review draft. This document is not an approved or effective policy. Details marked TO CONFIRM must be completed before publication.

Who you are dealing with

These draft terms concern the proposed Unity Business Network website and its membership, event, shop and learning services. [TO CONFIRM: the contracting legal entity, legal status, registration information, physical address and required supplier disclosures.] They are review material and do not replace the terms governing an existing Unity transaction.

Information before a purchase

Before any new purchase is enabled, the customer-facing service or product information must state what is supplied, the full applicable price and charges, payment arrangements and how the order is accepted. Prices and benefits displayed in the local preview are advertised-content drafts awaiting confirmation. [TO CONFIRM: tax treatment, payment provider, order process and confirmation messages.]

Memberships, events and learning

[TO CONFIRM: membership start dates, duration, renewals, access, changes and cancellation; event admission, transfers, rescheduling and cancellation; course access periods, delivery and support.] Each service needs clear conditions before a customer commits. This draft sets no automatic renewal, refund period, guaranteed event allocation or course entitlement.

Shop purchases and featured businesses

[TO CONFIRM: the seller of each shop item, fulfilment arrangements, delivery charges and timing, returns, refunds and complaint handling, including any digital products.] Directory features introduce separate businesses; their quotations and transaction terms must identify the relevant supplier. A feature alone does not establish who accepts payment or fulfils an order.

Questions and applicable rights

Questions about this draft can be sent to helene@unitybusinessnetwork.co.za. [TO CONFIRM: the final support and complaints process, applicable dispute arrangements and effective date.] The final terms must preserve rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable South African law. No blanket waiver of consumer rights is proposed.

A new chapter for Unity.

This preview uses the approved design and expanded draft content. Advertised prices, membership terms, event details and policies need customer verification before launch.

Photography and branded totes are illustrative concepts, not actual member photographs or confirmed products. Preview email is captured privately; no email is sent to Unity.

The store backend is reserved for administrators. Customer shopping, checkout, accounts and learning run on this main website. Existing customer accounts and order history have been imported. Review orders remain unpaid. Actual lesson material and final membership/event rules still need confirmation.
